This policy explains how Upside App Studio (“Upside App Studio”, “we”) handles personal data collected through upsideappstudio.com. Our mobile applications each publish their own privacy policy in the App Store listing, because the data they process differs from app to app.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Upside App Studio, registered at İstanbul, Türkiye. You can reach us at info@upsideappstudio.com.
2. What we collect
This website collects very little. Specifically:
- Contact form data. When you write to us we receive the name, email address, optional company name, enquiry category and message you submit. We use this solely to reply to you.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and requested page. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
We do not run advertising trackers on this website, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
3. Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, we process contact form data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Where Turkish law (KVKK) applies, the equivalent grounds under Article 5 apply.
4. How long we keep it
Contact form messages are retained for as long as the conversation is commercially relevant, and no longer than 24 months after the last exchange unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider’s standard retention period.
5. Who else sees it
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate the site, currently our hosting provider and our transactional email provider, and only to the extent needed to deliver that service. These providers may process data outside Türkiye or the EEA, in which case appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or request that we restrict it. Where processing rests on consent you may withdraw that consent at any time. Write to info@upsideappstudio.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. In Türkiye that is the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu (KVKK).
7. Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Any cookie present is strictly necessary for the site to function.
8. Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data through it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted here.
